Introduction

Focus of this pilot study:



look at the way in which manual attendance is taken,

considering;

–

the processes,

–

flaws,

–

how attendance is recorded and

–

the amount of time it takes to capture attendance



The next step was to develop an automated system;

–

that use technology (to eliminate most of the issues found with

a manual system),

–

extracts actual student data from the university system,

–

have a dashboard (visual view) to show attendance data.
