Other uses of systems based on the above-mentioned
technologies were also identified. The following scenarios could
be investigated for further systems:

Keep track of tutorial attendance (Important for FYE)

Monitor the submission of important documents (sick letters,
assignments, tutorials etc.)

Keep track of students who come to the lecturer/tutor/support
units for consultations/assistance – a summary can be kept to
ensure that interactions are meaningful and that follow-ups can
occur

Keep track of exam/test attendance and subsequently track
the submission of scripts. Invigilators can, in real time, be
presented with a list of all the students writing and those that still
need to submit scripts
–
A web-based version would allow students to track their
attendance (get a link to missed content or class recordings)
